Prime Minister Kallas is on a working visit to London today

Stenbock House, 6 June 2022 – Prime Minister Kallas is on a working visit to London today. She is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace, and Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.

The meetings in London will discuss the upcoming NATO Madrid Summit and security issues, as well as the possibilities of supporting Ukraine. The focus is also on bilateral relations between Estonia and the United Kingdom, in particular on the strengthening of economic and business contacts.

Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will also receive the Hugo Grotius Prize from the influential London think tank Policy Exchange. It recognises the contribution of Kaja Kallas to maintaining the international rule-based order and standing up to Russian aggression. The prize will be presented by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
