The Prime Minister and the Speaker of Riigikogu sent their sympathies to the President of Armenia

Mart Laar, the Prime Minister of Estonia, and Toomas Savi, the Speaker of Riigikogu (parliament) sent today their sympathies to Robert Kocharian, the President of Armenia. In their letter, the Estonian leaders said that yesterday`s tragic events at the Armenian parliament, which resulted in the killing of several Armenian governmental leaders, touched them deeply. The letter conveyed the following: "On behalf of the Estonian nation, the Riigikogu and the government of the republic please convey our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of terror and to the People of the Republic of Armenia. We share your mourning at this tragic hour."
