On the morning of Monday, 12 April, national flags will be flown at half-mast, in mourning of the tragic aircraft accident that happened near Smolensk, on the buildings of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic, the Riigikogu, the Government of the Republic, the State Chancellery, the Ministry of Defence, the Defence Forces, the Bank of Estonia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.

The blue-black-white flag will be flown at half-mast in mourning for all who lost their lives in the tragic accident.

In the aircraft accident, the President of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, and several high ranking officials lost their lives.
