On 8 February, Prime Minister Jüri Ratas will be meeting the Prime Minister of Latvia, Krišjānis Kariņš, who is visiting Estonia. In this bilateral meeting, the Prime Ministers will be discussing issues of the European Union, including Brexit, a new long-term budgetary framework and security and transatlantic cooperation. Additional discussion topics will include regional cooperation projects Rail Baltic, desynchronisation of electrical grids, and the development of gas market.
After the meeting, the Prime Ministers will give a joint press conference in Stenbock House.

The Prime Minister of Latvia, Krišjānis Kariņš, took office on 23 January. His first foreign visit will be to Estonia.
