Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas together with the other EU Heads of State and Government and the leaders of the EU institutions made a joint statement on the terrorist attacks in Paris.

Rõivas emphasised that the joint statement is a clear sign of unrelenting solidarity with France.

"Today we stand strong with the French people. Terrorism has no place in our world. We hold human life as our highest value and we can never lose our humanity or disregard our core values no matter who we are nor where we come from. Only united can we move towards safer world for us all," said the Prime Minister.

As a sign of our solidarity with the French people, the Stenbock House (Government Office) is in the French colours. Estonian flag is at half-staff to commemorate the tragic loss of innocent lives.
